About The Position

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for the LDRP. This is a night shift position with required call. Preferred applicants will have experience specifically in Labor and Delivery and will cross train into postpartum. Ideal applicants will have previous charge or supervisory experience. The LDRP at Sentara Martha Jefferson offers state of the art care while maintaining a personalized experience for all patients. This specialty area has a 100-member team cross trained to offer best in class healthcare to Charlottesville, VA, and surrounding areas. The platform currently has approximately 100 employees across various clinical and support roles. Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
  • Registered nursing license required
  • 2 years of acute care registered nurse experience in Women's health preferred
  • Strong understanding of patient safety protocols.
  • Must want to work night shift

Nice To Haves

  • BSN or MSN Preferred
  • Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire.
  • EFM- Electronic Fetal monitoring preferred
  • Certified Obstetrics Nursing preferred
  • Experience in charge roles preferred
  • Labor and Delivery specific Experience preferred
