About The Position

This is a full-time night shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor and Delivery department at Texas Health Rockwall. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, supporting families, and contributing to a healing environment. Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within 2 years of hire
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

1 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
STABLE Program completion recommended
AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion preferred
