About The Position
Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. On-call required; When on-call must arrive to the Hospital within 30 minutes.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year recent experience within the last three (3) years of Full –Time high risk Labor & Delivery experience
- OB triage and Circulating vaginal & C-section deliveries
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA certified)
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is a requirement within 1 year of hire, unless documentation of completion is provided prior to hire
Nice To Haves
- will train to scrub C-sections and train to postpartum/well baby if no experience
- AWHONN progressive Fetal Monitoring classes are recommended every 2 years
