About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Procedural Care / Interventional Radiology for a 13-week contract in Chico, California. The RN will provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures. The position requires strong procedural recovery experience, current California RN licensure, and proficiency with Epic EMR. Previous Interventional Radiology and successful travel nursing assignment experience are preferred. This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced procedural care RN comfortable managing pre- and post-Interventional Radiology patients on 10-hour day shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required
• Pre- and Post-Procedural Recovery Experience Required
• Current, Active California Registered Nurse License Required
• Current BLS/CPR Certification Required
• Current ACLS Certification Required
• Epic EMR Experience Required

Nice To Haves

• Interventional Radiology Experience
• Prior Successful Travel Assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Assess patients before and after procedures, monitor clinical status, and respond appropriately to changes or complications.
• Administer medications and treatments and provide patient education related to procedural preparation, recovery, and discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate safe and efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic while supporting established procedural safety and recovery standards.
