Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology
About The Position
HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital is seeking an RN to work specifically in our Interventional Radiology (IR) department. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals providing high-quality and specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures guided by imaging technologies. This position will also assist in scheduling which entails conducting pre-procedure phone calls to obtain health history, reviewing instructions, ensure proper labs and imaging are completed prior to the procedure and performing patient follow-up communications. Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
- Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
- Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
