About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dynamic and growing interventional pain team. As an RN in the clinic, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring patients receive the best possible care. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. This role involves the coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. The RN collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The position requires demonstrating competency and practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizing appropriate age and population-specific standards. The role functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure, with the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizing the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a school or college of nursing
  • Attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice
  • Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
  • Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area
