About The Position
At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies and interventions. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.
- BLS (AHA/ARC).
Nice To Haves
- BSN graduate preferred.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.
- Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience preferred.
- Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and managing nursing care plans.
- Participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
