More about our team
Join our 18-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs)
and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to
patient ratio. Patients treated on this included vents, continuous BiPAP,
vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA and a mix op intermediate
care. This role provides an opportunity to work in a newly opened unit, very
spacious and bright. Staff Physicians are approachable. Our unit strives for
quality patient care, and you are encouraged to share your knowledge with
others.

Requirements

• Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
