About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality instruction, curriculum development, student mentoring, and clinical supervision within the Associate Degree Nursing Program at UA Rich Mountain. This role involves teaching classroom, laboratory, simulation, hybrid, and online nursing courses. The instructor will develop syllabi, assessments, and instructional materials, and evaluate student learning and clinical competencies. Additionally, the position requires supervising students in clinical settings, participating in curriculum development and accreditation activities, and providing academic advising and mentoring. The RN Instructor will also serve on committees, support college initiatives, and maintain current licensure and professional development.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Arkansas RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Three years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Eligibility to teach under Arkansas State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Strong communication and technology skills.
• Ability to work in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical environments and demonstrate nursing procedures as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing.
• Previous ADN or BSN teaching experience.
• Simulation and curriculum development experience.
• Rural healthcare experience.
• Nursing specialty certification.
