About The Position
Registered Nurse - RN - Inpatient Unit - Per Diem 7p-7a Salary: $44 per hour on weekday nights, $48 per hour on weekend nights A compassionate and dedicated jobseeker is needed for the Hospice Nurse opportunity with our company! Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- NJ RN license required
- IV and Medical Surgical Experience required
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Hospice experience preferred
- Bilingual is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family educational needs and provides appropriate education
- Applies nursing principles and techniques in the treatment of patients, providing nursing care, emotional support and education to patient and family
- Initiate interdisciplinary plan of care to address PFC needs
- Provides safe and appropriate patient care in accordance with protocols, policies, procedures and physician orders
- Manages medications according to standards
- Responds appropriately in emergency situations
- Implements, evaluates and revises the plan of care and directs other in its implementation
- Provides or facilitates the provision of emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families
- Participates in the orientation of new employees
- Provides supervision of all CHHA and Volunteers
