The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implementing clinical nursing interventions, possessing a highly diverse medical skillset, developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Requirements

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice
  • 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record training

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition
  • Assesses, stages, photographs, and measures wounds accurately and in accordance with policy
  • Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
  • Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
