About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to communicate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases. The RN will implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient’s level of complexity. This is a 90% FTE position with 3 - 12 hour evening/night shifts, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 3:00am with no on-call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Requirements

• Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire
• CPR certification Upon Hire
• 6 months of relevant clinical experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Clinical operating room experience
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
