Join our growing inpatient float team at Aurora Medical Center Grafton. Being a part of the float team allows you to experience the best of every department and utilize your skills where they are needed most. Inpatient float RNs support med/surg units, progressive care, observation, and have additional cross training opportunities to support ED/ICU/other specialty areas. Float nurses gain a strong clinical foundation that reflects adaptability, versatility, and readiness for advancement. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of med/surg nursing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
