About The Position

The Cancer Care Center Registered Nurse will provide expert care for oncology patients using a multidisciplinary approach. The Cancer Care Center Registered Nurse evaluates and treats oncology patients, following outlined protocols. Compassionate care and ongoing professional development are key to success in this role.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Illinois Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) &/or a magnet approved certification or obtained within 3 years of hire
• Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate within 3 months of hire for sites administering chemotherapy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 1 year or more of Oncology nursing in an outpatient setting
