Registered Nurse (RN) In House Contract Nights
About The Position
AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette seeks an In House Contract Registered Nurses (RN) for Night Shifts. This is a 12-week contract with a higher rate of pay. AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is a Long-Term Acute Care hospital that specializes in the management of complex medical needs. Our mission is to return patients to their optimal level of well-being in the least restrictive medical environment. We accomplish this through a multi-disciplined approach that includes aggressive clinical and therapeutic interventions, as well as family involvement. Our high staff to patient ratio ensures individualized attention. Our nurses, therapists, and physicians work with each patient to obtain the best possible outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- ICU, Critical Care or Step-Down experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
- Direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
