As a Float Pool RN supporting the Intermediate Care Unit and Emergency Department, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple specialized units. In this role, you will gain diverse, hands-on experience caring for a wide range of patients across several specialty areas, including Cardiac Step-Down, Adult Intermediate Care, Blood and Marrow Transplant, and the Emergency Department. This position is 0.75 FTE (60 hours per two weeks), 12 hour shifts on the NIGHT shift with an every third weekend commitment (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
