About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN II) in the Observation Unit at Texas Health HEB is a full-time night shift position. This fast-paced unit specializes in intermediate level of care for patients with typical stays of 24-48 hours. Requirements

Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or Associate's Degree Nursing required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required
CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
