Requirements

2 Years ICU Experience Required
Impella and CRRT/NXStage experience required
Epic EMR Experience Required
Patient Ratio 1:2 but flexes to 1:3
Active RN License in State of Louisiana
Nurses do all lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts.
Active BLS, ACLS, NIH Certifications
Proof of Flu and COVID vaccine

Nice To Haves

Previous Travel Experience Preferred
CPI certification (can be obtained at the facility)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient vital signs and condition, responding to changes as needed.
Operate and manage ICU equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and dialysis machines.
Perform lab draws, EKGs, and line starts.
Float to ED or PACU to care for ICU patients.
Float to all ICUs.
May float to MS/PCU unit and care for patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
