Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Job Type: Full-Time | Nights Schedule: 12 hour shifts | 6:45pm-7am Sign-on Bonus: up to $20,000 with 2 or more year's of experience New hires and those who have been away from the organization for 2 years or more. Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
BCLS required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are preferred.
One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

RN provides direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
Documents patient care provided.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
