About The Position

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Travel ICU RN responsible for total care of ICU patients including management of ventilators, administration of titratable drips, and providing hygiene care. Floating to the ER and Med Surg departments is required. The role does not require on-call duty.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• ER and Med Surg experience required

Nice To Haves

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients
• Float to ER and Med Surg departments as needed to perform duties including medication administration, patient transport, and monitoring
