About The Position

TBC Healthcare Solutions is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for a 13-week ICU contract opportunity in the New Orleans area (Marrero, LA). This role offers a chance to experience the unique culture and charm of New Orleans while providing essential care. The position involves working 4x12 hour shifts per week, with options for AM or PM schedules, totaling 48 hours per week. Nurses will be responsible for direct patient care in ICUs, potentially floating to the ED for CC admits, and performing various procedures. Requirements

2 Years ICU/Neuro Experience Required
Epic EMR Experience Required
Patient Ratio 1:2-3
Must be willing to float to all ICUs and ED for CC admits.
Nurses do all lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts.
Active RN License in State of Louisiana
Previous Travel Experience
Active BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI Certifications (CPI can be obtained at the facility.)
Proof of Flu and COVID vaccine

Active CCRN Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in ICU settings (CCU/SCU/NCU).
Float to all ICUs, including CCU, SCU, and NCU (primarily neuro patients).
Willing to float to the ED to care for CC admits.
Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts.
Operate and manage various medical equipment including Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, NXStage dialysis, Edwards Lifescardiac monitors, Medtronic EVD Management Systems, Veratron Bladder Scanner & Arctic Sun TMS.
