About The Position

TBC Healthcare Solutions is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract opportunity in the New Orleans area. This position offers a chance to experience the unique culture and charm of New Orleans while working in a dynamic healthcare community. The role involves providing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, with opportunities for precepting and floating to all ICUs. Nurses will be responsible for performing lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts. The position is for night shifts, working 4x12 hours per week, totaling 48 hours per week.

Requirements

2 Years ICU Experience Required
Trauma Level I & II Required
Epic EMR Experience Required
Patient Ratio 1:2
Active RN License in State of Louisiana
Previous Travel Experience
Active BLS, ACLS, NIH Certifications
Proof of Flu and COVID vaccine

Nice To Haves

Active CPI, PALS, TNCC Certifications

Responsibilities

Provide care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
Precept new nurses.
Float to all ICUs as needed.
Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts.
Operate and monitor various medical equipment including Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, NXStage dialysis, Edwards Lifescardiac monitors, Medtronic EVD Management Systems, Veratron Bladder Scanner & Arctic Sun TMS.
