About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care. The RN will make an impact by utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. They will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage their skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • ACLS required within six months of hire
  • Two (2) year of ICU experience required

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • Experience in critical care
  • Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump
  • Previous experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
  • CCRN certification
