About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the ICU. Provides direct patient care and is accountable for assigned patients in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and assess clinical status and treatment response
• Communicate changes in condition, abnormal results, and symptomatology to physicians
• Administer medications, IV therapy, sedation, and vasoactive drips
• Guide patient/family education and support nursing staff
• Respond rapidly to changes in condition and emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
