Registered Nurse (RN) - Hyperbaric Wound Care Ostomy
About The Position
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. This outpatient clinic attached to Aurora Medical Center Summit. The nursing team staffs the clinic schedule as well as assessing our inpatients with hyperbaric, wound care and ostomy needs. We start the day with a safety huddle within the department and move into seeing a variety of patients that are scheduled. These visits vary from new consults with the provider, provider follow-up visits and nurse dressing changes.
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred.

- Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Staffing the clinic schedule.
- Assessing inpatients with hyperbaric, wound care and ostomy needs.
- Participating in daily safety huddles.
- Seeing a variety of scheduled patients, including new consults, provider follow-up visits, and nurse dressing changes.
