About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – House Supervisor for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This night-shift position requires an experienced RN with strong clinical judgment, leadership capabilities, and the ability to support hospital-wide nursing operations. Candidates must hold an active California RN license and required life-support certifications. Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License Required.
• Minimum 5 Years of Registered Nursing Experience Required.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
• Current PALS Certification Required.
• Negative TB Screening Within 12 Months of the Contract Start Date Required.

Nice To Haves

• NRP Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-shift nursing supervision and support safe patient-care operations throughout the hospital.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and assist with escalation of patient-care or staffing concerns.
• Support coordination of nursing resources and patient-care activities during assigned shifts.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding clinical and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support established hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.
