About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice position at Trellis Supportive Care involves providing compassionate medical, emotional, spiritual, and social support to individuals living with life-limiting illness. This role focuses on helping patients live fully and comfortably during life's most challenging times. The position is based at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and offers a schedule that supports work-life balance while making a meaningful difference. The RN will initially work as a floor nurse and, after training, will take on Charge RN responsibilities. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a strong team culture built on collaboration and shared values.

Requirements

Current North Carolina RN license
Charge RN experience
Excellent nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service
Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and families
Ability to cope with emotional stress and respect diverse lifestyles
Proficiency with electronic medical records

Responsibilities
