We currently have an opening for an RN contract for night shift at a Geriatric Psych Hospital and an RN for day shift at the Health Department in Sedgwick County. Our Registered Nurses enjoy some notable benefits: $40 - $42.50 / hour Flexible scheduling, variety of assignments and work-life balance Per diem, block schedule, contract, temp-to-hire and direct-hire positions Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University As a Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities such as clinics, medical offices, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and schools Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes to physician Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician orders for patients Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Kansas
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
