The department structure ensures a manageable workload, with staff floating and supporting inpatient units, surgical, neuro, and medical, most featuring just 18 beds, allowing for attentive, high-quality patient care. There may be opportunities to cross-train to IV Therapy, LDRP, and other units. The float team is an integrated, highly engaged team supporting the Summit site, offering expertise, camaraderie, compassion, and shared purpose. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Aurora Medical Center – Summit is a 117-bed facility staffed by over 260 nurses, providing state-of-the-art care in a thoughtfully designed space focused on comfort, safety, and privacy.
