Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program
New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
ACLS must be attained within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

Passion for caring for a diverse patient population
1+ Years of acute care hospital based nursing (RN) experience preferred

Responsibilities

Floating between various Nursing Units throughout the hospital based on need
Assessing, monitoring, administering medication, documenting progress, and overall management of care for the patient population on the nursing unit
Partnering with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Advocating for and building meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
