About The Position

Registered Nurse/RN Float Pool - PCCU/Telemetry Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231. Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights 7pm-7am, including weekend and holiday requirements. Training: Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire. Nursing Pool Department highlights: Working with a Multi-Disciplinary team. Work with ill patients and provide life-saving care. The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. Requirements

Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
1 year of Progressive Care Cardiac Unit or Telemetry experience preferred
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year of Progressive Care Cardiac Unit or Telemetry experience preferred
