About The Position

This is a Full Time Nights position for a Registered Nurse/RN Float specializing in Critical Care. The role involves floating to ICU, Emergency, Med Surg, and Telemetry units within the Rockwall hospital. The position requires 36 hours weekly, working nights from 7pm to 7am, including weekends and holidays. There is no on-call requirement, and self-scheduling is available. The role also requires initial training at the corporate office in Arlington.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
