About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) - FLEX Resource Women's Health position is a part-time role within the Women's Health (WH) care across the Wisconsin division. This role supports multiple Aurora Health acute-care facilities within the Wisconsin division, providing adaptable, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Float RNs are expected to be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. The position involves supporting sites in Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Bay Area, and Bay Care. This role offers travel-nursing-style variety without the travel, exposure to various departments and patient populations, and career-building experience in adaptability and managing diverse clinical situations. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
  • Must be able to support 2 of 3 specialties: Post Partum, Labor & Delivery, NICU.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Additional Certification needed: LDRP RN (ACLS, NRP, EFM, Telemetry Rhythm Analysis/Interpretation POC Glucose; NICU RN (PALS, NRP, POC Glucose).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of WH RN experience required in specialty.
  • 1 Weekend Shift per 2 schedule period.
  • 1 Holiday per year.

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly Prefer 2 years Women's Health RN Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience.
  • Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute-care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings.
  • Maintaining the competency required to practice in all acute-care facilities within the designated zone.
