About The Position

ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full Time RN to support the Wilmington, DE and surrounding area. This role involves providing skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community. The successful candidate will develop and implement goal-oriented, patient-centered care plans and plans for patient discharge. This position requires IV proficiency, with training provided upon hire and expected proficiency within 90 days. The role involves day shift hours, working one weekend a month, two holidays a year, and two on-call shifts a month.

Requirements

• BSN required; ADN candidates are required to obtain their Bachelors of Science, Nursing Degree (BSN), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
• Must possess a current DE RN license, or compact state license
• 1 year of RN experience
• IV proficient or willing to train, and perform IV functions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Give skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
• Develop and implement care plans, which are goal oriented and patient centered and consistent with available resources.
