About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy Job Type: Full-time | Days Schedule: 5x8, Days (530a-2p), Some Call Requirement (approximately 10 shifts every 6 weeks, including weeknights and weekends). While we have a call rotation to ensure full coverage, our actual call-in rate is low. You can enjoy your time off with peace of mind. Our department is exceptionally organized. While we occasionally stay an hour or two past a shift to wrap up the day’s schedule, middle-of-the-night call-ins are rare. Work alongside surgeons and specialized staff in a modern, streamlined setting where everyone has each other's back.

Requirements

  • Current Arizona RN license
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school
  • BCLS, ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • 1 year of nursing, endoscopy, critical care or moderate sedation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Admits patients before Endoscopy.
  • Prepares outpatients before procedure, takes report on inpatients, and transports patients to and from Endoscopy.
  • Accurately charts for patients during procedure.
  • Assists with procedure, circulates room, with a goal of learning to be an Endoscopy Technician.
  • Must be comfortable learning and performing moderate sedation.
