About The Position

In the GI lab, we handle approximately 60-70 cases per day, with 7 admit beds, 10 recovery beds, and 7 procedure rooms. It's a very fast-paced environment. We assist with pediatric cases in ambulatory care and also in the main operating room with many GI lab cases. Our procedures include Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, and various therapeutic procedures. We have a diverse team with varied skill levels working together to provide the best patient experience and outcomes.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Teamwork, having an emphasis on patients receiving high quality care.
Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement.
Collaboration
Endoscopy/GI experience is required
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
Time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in operating computer functions (e.g., E-mail, electronic records, digital platforms etc.)
