About The Position

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Endoscopy department. This role involves providing direct patient care, performing assessments, identifying patient needs, and initiating appropriate nursing interventions. The nurse will also be responsible for timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity and providing post-procedure and recovery care, as well as patient education and advocacy. This position is in-person and offers a $20,000 commitment incentive bonus with a schedule of 5x8 days, rotating call, and rotating holidays.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

• One year of Endo experience preferred
• Compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
