About The Position

This Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for floating to multiple facilities within the Charlotte Market, including Atrium Health Mercy Endoscopy, Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), Pineville, Lake Norman, University, and affiliated Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC). Atrium Health Mercy Endoscopy is a hospital-based, Planetree-designated facility focused on people-centered care, offering a comprehensive range of procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and cardioversions. The role requires providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. It emphasizes using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS required

Nice To Haves

Previous ICU, PACU or ER nursing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Float to various facilities within the Charlotte Market, including Mercy, CMC, Pineville, Lake Norman, University, and ASC facility coverage.
