Registered Nurse RN Emergency
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. The Chelsea Emergency Department has experienced physicians and nurses with advanced training in emergency medicine that provide care 365 days a year in the 24-hour Emergency Department. More than 18,000 patients are treated each year for emergencies ranging from life-threatening cardiac arrests and strokes, to major injuries and accidents, to more minor injuries. Facilities include a five-bay observation center for observation and testing before returning home, as well as 20 private exam rooms adding a greater degree of privacy for patients.
Requirements
- Requires current Michigan Nursing License
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- Must have at least one year of experience working in Emergency department
- New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
