About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent/full-time position in New Hampshire. This role involves providing direct nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and maintain accurate documentation. Patient education, advocacy, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards are also key aspects of this position. The role also requires participation in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience – Required
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, emergency procedures, and medical equipment
  • Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience – Required
  • New graduate nurses are not eligible for this position
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable healthcare regulations
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher from an accredited nursing program – Required
  • Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License at the time of submission – Required
  • BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS Certification – Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
  • PALS Certification – Highly Preferred
  • CEN Certification – Highly Preferred
  • TNCC Certification – Highly Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols.
  • Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes promptly, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and quality care while providing compassionate nursing support.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, evidence-based nursing practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
