This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Electrophysiology department. The role involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, collaborating with the care team, and upholding a culture of safety. The position may involve administering medications and treatments, demonstrating effective communication, pursuing professional development, adhering to ethical practices, and delegating appropriately. Accurate EHR documentation is required. The nurse may be required to float to other units or facilities.
