About The Position

The UH Lake West ED is a Level 3 Trauma Center consisting of 20 beds on the main side of the ED for acute patients. It also has 5 super track rooms for lower acuity patients to maintain patient flow. The unit is stroke and chest pain certified. UH offers a nurse-focused, supportive, and education-focused culture with a Nurse Residency Program to assist in Transition To Practice for new graduate RNs. Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
