Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis – Full Time– Days
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Dialysis unit at Texas Health Dallas. The role involves delivering care to patients using the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse will incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiate actions to meet patient information needs, and maintain continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers. Texas Health Dallas is a 900-bed MAGNET-designated hospital, a Level I Major Trauma facility, and a recipient of the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline Silver Quality Achievement Award. The hospital is a leading choice in North Texas for various specialized care areas.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate Degree in Nursing; or BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of nursing residency
Nice To Haves
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire preferred
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
