About The Position
The RN Dialysis Apheresis serves as a professional caregiver responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during assigned shifts and dialysis/apheresis procedures. This role utilizes the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to provide comprehensive care for patients requiring specialized dialysis and apheresis treatments.
Requirements
- Current Louisiana RN license in good standing with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor patient responses throughout dialysis and apheresis treatments.
- Coordinate and delegate nursing care activities to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Foster a supportive, healing environment while delivering exceptional clinical care.
