Where You Will Work: Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Dialysis | Metro Aurora Float Zone II Make a difference across multiple hospitals while providing specialized acute dialysis care. The Metro Aurora Float Zone II Dialysis Team provides acute inpatient dialysis services throughout Greater Milwaukee, supporting patients at: Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Aurora South Shore Medical Center. As an Acute Dialysis RN, you will deliver high-quality dialysis care to hospitalized patients in a dynamic environment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple campuses at bed side or at the dialysis room. In this role, nurses provide life-sustaining dialysis treatments to hospitalized patients at the bedside and within designated dialysis treatment areas. Team members enjoy a diverse practice environment, caring for a wide range of patient populations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple campuses. Travel between assigned hospital locations may be required, and mileage reimbursement is provided. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 1+ Acute care RN experience.
  • Dialysis experience preferred
  • A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth

Nice To Haves

  • Dialysis experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
