About The Position

This position is a consists of nurses trained/certified in the necessary devices to maintain patient care. If interested in this position you will work within our ICU Float pool until you are fully trained to work independently within all of our ICUs and trained on the devices listed below. Once trained in all of the devices and ICUs you will transition into the device float pool with elevated ARC rates. Requirements

Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
