About The Position

The Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics clinic, located at 2608 E. 7th St., Charlotte, NC, provides specialized care for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental and behavioral diagnoses. The clinic partners closely with families to support evaluation, treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing care coordination. The team focuses on helping families manage complex behavioral and developmental needs through caregiver education, symptom assessment, and connection to appropriate services and supports. This role is part of the Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte, which spans a 14-county region with over 600 locations in various settings. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Currently registered as a nurse in North Carolina with an active, unrestricted license
  • Active and current BLS certification
  • General nursing experience of at least 1 year (excluding schooling/practicum)

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric, behavioral health, or developmental nursing experience of any length
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the clinical care of patients being evaluated for and/or patients already participating in the clinical program, including research activities, and education.
  • Coordinates clinical care throughout the program utilizing pathways and developing tools to ensure high quality, cost effective continuity of care is provided to all patients.
