About The Position
This Registered Nurse (RN) is a specialized ambulatory care nurse, defined as a nurse who provides episodic care to patients for 24 hours or less in many different settings. The RN cares for patients before and after same-day surgery and some patients undergoing outpatient procedures. They also use cost-effective ways to assist patients in promoting health, preventing disease, and managing chronic or acute health problems. Finally, the RN promotes self-management and assists family members or friends in caring for their loved ones.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- 1+ years’ experience working as a Medical-Surgical Nurse.
- New Jersey RN license.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing.
