Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN
- Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
- 1 year experience in ambulatory healthcare setting
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
- PALS (within 90 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Supporting mission of the hospital
- Demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process
- Care to all patients, coordinating healthcare services that reflect philosophy and standards of ambulatory health and nursing care of assigned patients’
- Promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments
- Initiates healthcare training and education to the patient and/or patient’s significant other to facilitate recovery
