About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is responsible for providing critical care oversight and support for patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures. This position requires strong clinical skills in cardiac care and the ability to manage ventilator and vasoactive drips.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of CVICU experience
- Proficiency in ventilator and vasoactive drips
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to CVICU patients
- Monitor and manage cardiac and ICU equipment
- Perform typical procedures such as post CABG, STEMI, and vascular care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Float as necessary to Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit
